L.A. writes that her 2 1/2-year-old grandson has a disease known as San Joaquin fever or valley fever and says that a few of her friends know much about it.
This disease, medically known by the tongue-twisting name of coccidioidomycosis, is not yet (with emphasis on the 'yet') widespread over the North American continent.
